About Me
Hello, I’m Jan, I'm 17 years old, and I live in Hamburg, Germany. I’m interested in computer science, particularly web development, which I’ve been mostly teaching myself over the past few years. I’ve already completed 2 student internships in the IT field and will start my apprenticeship as an IT specialist for application development at the Fricke Group in August. I come from Poland, so I also speak Polish fluently in addition to German and English. Besides my IT activities, I’m a member of a shooting club and go on long-distance bike rides.

2017 - 2025Education
High School and Diploma
From 2017 to 2025, I was a student at Marion-Dönhoff-Gymnasium in Hamburg. In June, I completed my secondary education there with the Abitur (German university entrance qualification).
2023Internship
IT Internship at Fielmann
At the beginning of 11th grade, I completed another two-week student internship at Fielmann. There, I gained valuable insights into the world of web development, deepened my existing knowledge, and developed new skills. It was also my first time working with modern front-end frameworks like React.
2022Internship
IT Internship at the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces)
In 10th grade, I had my first experience with the world of computer science. During my two-week student internship at the Bundeswehr Command and Staff College in Hamburg, I explored various areas of IT, from network administration to helpdesk.
